Magazines & Journals

My short pieces have appeared in a range of publications such as Underwired and AAA EnCompass. Here are two samples:

The Seven Signs of Craft Addiction, Sasee, September 2007.

Where Do You Get Your Ideas, ByLine, July/August 2005.

You take a tour of an old cheese factory downtown and the tour guide asks the group to guess the purpose of the adjoining rooms.  You look at the lack of windows, the thick cement walls and the narrow opening that connects them.

"Maybe it would be a good makeshift mortuary, some place to stash the bodies? Were there mob connections?"

Everyone turns to stare.

"Cottage cheese," says the tour guide when she recovers.  "They made cottage cheese."
