With the color blue on my mind this week (thanks to my Sunday Blogging Blues post), it seemed appropriate to create this blue bracelet for The Global Genes Project. They are collecting 7,000 blue jean/denim-inspired bracelets to distribute to families living with rare diseases. If you're interested in participating, you can find the mailing address and more information on the website. According to their Facebook page, they are distributing the bracelets at the end of February, so you still have a little time.

About My Bracelet
I love making wire-wrapped dangles, so I gathered up every royal or navy blue bead I had in my stash to create this goes-with-everything charm bracelet. The chain is dark brass oval chain from Vintaj. Each wire dangle is hand-wrapped. Beads featured include: sodalite rounds, blueberry quartz rondelles, lampwork round (that gorgeous swirled bead), vintage Lucite, furnace glass, Swarovski crystals, pearls, copper beads, and ceramic rounds. The bracelet also features a brass key charm and a round charm stamped with the word "believe." It measures 8 inches, but may easily be adjusted by clipping the lobster clasp to another jump ring or piece of chain.
I hope whoever ends up with this bracelet enjoys it!
