It always makes me happy to be able to support my local community doing something I love.
This year I'm participating in the Holiday 100 Exhibit at the Lincoln Center Galleries in Fort Collins, Colorado. Thirty percent of the purchase price for items goes to support the Lincoln Center. This is the place where I've seen authors such as David Sedaris and musicians such as "Weird Al" Yankovic. (What can I say? I'm a fan of comedy.) At this time of year, you'll find productions related to The Nutcracker and A Christmas Carol, as well as holiday music.
Handmade Ornaments
The theme for "Holiday 100" asked artists to make items measuring under 100 square inches and costing less than $100. I've created handmade metal ornaments. Some are inspired by Colorado such as this beer-themed ornament:
Others are more traditional such as this Christmas snowflake ornament with a quote from A Christmas Carol:
The exact selection may vary when you visit, as I'm allowed to bring in additional items as the current ones sell. Of course, if your favorite sells out (or you're not in the local area), you can contact me and see if I'm able to make another just for you.
An Early Look At The Other Artists
Here's the official brochure that shows three of the other artists.
I'd love to know about the last performance you saw in your own town!
