I've been having fun stamping words on earrings and pendants. I love coming up with new word pairs or phrases, especially ones that make me laugh.
One of my biggest worries with this form a jewelry making is that I'll spell something wrong. It's one thing to make a typing mistake on the computer with a handy "delete" key and another to make one with a heavy hammer on piece of metal. There is no undo!
Sometimes I think I'm taking my spelling obsession a little too far. When I was creating these Zombie Earrings for Halloween, I actually stopped and looked up how many a's I should use for the word "brains" in zombie speak: braains? braaains? braaaaaaaaaains?
Although I found results for all sorts of variations on the word "brains," three a's produced the most results on Google. Apparently there's a zombie game that is called Braaains. Did you know that? I didn't. Who says that jewelry making isn't educational?
